Certificate Program in Finance for Executives (cFE)
Executive Education by PwC is proud to bring to the market a certificate program on Finance for Executives.
Measuring and Creating Value
Warren Buffet put it simply,
‘Price is what you pay. Value is what you get’.
Corporate financial management involves valuing businesses or parts of businesses and thinking about ways to increase value. How do you measure value? Corporate finance and accounting is ‘strategy with numbers’. Managers who can also structure their strategic thinking in a spreadsheet, can enable discussion about strategy to become a discussion about the value drivers of the spreadsheet. Since risk comes from not knowing what you are doing, proper financial risk management and financial innovation can help creating and measuring value.
Who should attend?
The program is well suited to any executive who wishes to update and refresh his or her knowledge of finance and accounting for business or to anyone who has limited formal training in financial concepts and techniques. It is particularly applicable to participants whose background is in creative, scientific or in technical fields. This fundamentals program attracts a very diverse group of participants ranging from directors, vice presidents, regional directors, general managers and partners from a wide range of industries. It is pertinent for managers from small and large organizations from all industries.
